PREVIEW SPECIFICATION
Schüco AWS 90 BR, thermally insulated aluminium window system, FB 4
With 90 mm basic depth.
Information:
Bullet resistance in accordance with DIN EN 1522, security class: FB 4 and/or in conjunction with burglar resistance RC 2 – 3 (WK2-3)
Combination with FB 4 façade on request
Design features:
Face-fitted vent frame on the room side rebated by 10 mm from the frame edge, flush-fitted on the outside.
Thermally insulated insulating bars with hollow chambers form the rebate for the co-extruded, double hollow chamber centre gasket fitted with a foam core.
For improved separation of heat transfer, this must also be designed with a fin.
The outer and vent frames have an external, 20 mm deep, hollow chamber, which is filled with aluminium reinforcing profiles as per the test certificate.
The glazing must be attached to the vent frame using a sealing compound that is compatible with the edge seal as per the specifications of the test certificate and lined with compression-resistant packing.
Vent sizes up to max. 1.45 x 1.80 m are possible, depending on the glazing
